Winona Fire Department awarded 10k grant from Ellard Family Foundation

The City of Winona would like to offer a special thank you to the Ellard Family Foundation for their generous $10,000 grant to Chief Johnson and Winona Fire Department. The grant is for a brush skid unit to assist in fighting off road grass and pasture fires.

Mayor Jerry A. Flowers said, "This purchase is vital for the safety of our community and efficiency of our first responders. Thank you for your contribution and your commitment to the Winona Fire Department's mission and safety of Winona, Mississippi."
